Blackcurrants are a renowned super food with a long list of health benefits. Zeaberry Blackcurrant Powder can be used in many recipes. We’ve come up with a few recipe ideas to get you started,using both frozen and Blackcurrant powder.
Ingredients
Beat the eggs, sugar , oil and milk together , lightly fold the dry ingredients then gently fold the berries.
Spoon in to a greased muffin tray and bake at 220c for 15-20 mins.
1/2 cup Blackcurrants or (1 tsp Zeaberry blackcurrant powder)
1/2 frozen banana
1 teaspoon Spirulina powder(we like the flavour of the powder from O2B Healthy)
250mls Wangapeka Dairy Milk Kefir (dairy free option use a low sugar apple juice,we use Mill Orchard)
Wiz up in a smoothie maker or blender!!
If you don’t have Milk Kefir- which is a probiotic cultured milk product use natural Greek yoghurt.

Make your usual bowl of porridge and add a teaspoon of Blackcurrant powder. Add honey to sweeten if required. Kids love it!
